SpectorSoft Spector Pro 5.0 Removal

    Hello everyone.

    I have reason to believe that this specific keylogger has been installed on my system. I have dealt with a few keyloggers before, but every new keylogger is harder to remove than the last.

    As with all of the keyloggers I have dealt with, my anti-spyware and anti-virus software finds absolutely nothing. I run Norton Antivirus, Ad-Aware SE Personal, and Spybot. All of them are kept up to date. I ran HijackThis a while back and nothing unusual came up. I can post the logs if any of you want me to.

    How do I get rid of this? Are there any other programs that I do not know of that may help me get rid of keyloggers or completely prevent them in the first place?

    Speak to the person who installed it. This is not malware. It is a commercial program that needed to be installed by someone.

    Who is the owner of this PC?
    Is it a WinXP system? If so, who has administrator priviledges on the PC that can install software.
