Sponsored Ads

If I'm having issues with sponsored ads should I follow the malware removal steps or is there a different route to take?

I did a search for Adblock and got a mess of hits. Suddenly Ad Choices is everywhere. Seems like I had more ads than info. Would you have link to the site that you recommend. I would appreciate that to a hit or miss attempt that I think is the correct site only to create more problems.

My Bad. I'm using IE 11 on a brand new unit with no software downloads. I'm seeing the problem only on one web site, Zero Hedge. I went to Google Ads and said no thanks on being a Trackee and the issue went away. When I posted the other day the problem had magically reappeared. I don't think I have malware but I'm seeing a mess of ads and the back button takes me to a new ad on the page but not back to the previous page only on the ZH site. LRC.com doesn't have the issue. If I click the "Read" function on the address bar at ZH I can read the article and I can go back to the "table of Contents" for lack of a better description. This one just seems strange to me and before I load new software I'm trying to understand what this new, to me, phenomena might be.
