Hi! Ive got something not exactely sure what it is. I know I come up with Mirar and purityscan but I dont know if those two are part of something else. Ive been working on removing it for about a week now and Ive followed the run and read me thread. I get rid of it but once I restart it comes right back, I must be missing something.
Thank-you very much in advance to anyonye that helps.

Please relocate your HJT to a safer location such as C:\Program Files\HJT. Once you have relocated HJT, attach a fresh log to your next post and TimW will assist you from there.

    Code:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Kristy stuff\analyse.exe

    Please download and install:
    Java Runtime 6

Run HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Please copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

Now download The Avenger by Swandog469, and save it to your Desktop.

    * Extract avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    * Check the 'Input script manually' box.
    * Click on the magnifying glass icon.
    * Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it in the box that opens:

    * Now click the 'Done' button.
    * Click on the traffic light icon and OK the prompt.
    * You will be prompted to restart, OK the prompt and your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    * A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt
    You may wish to uninstall:
BigFix ---> a rather big resource hog.

Do you know what these are? (From your uninstall list):
    "HORIZON?????????"
    "HYDEIST_001?????????"
    "HYDEIST_002?????????"

    Attach new logs for:
    ShowNew
    GetRun
    HJT
    Avenger

Pease turn off/disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs.
    Uninstall Counterspy.

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

    * Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
    * Click the Scan for Vundo button.
    * Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
    * You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
    * Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
    * When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
    * Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the
Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

Run HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
Please copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

I see that most of the avenger fix did take for the file removal...but there is no trace of the folders being removed. And all of the avenger fix is still showing in your ShowNew log. Are you having problems with either of the fixes? Did you rescan both the ShowNew and GetRun before applying the avenger fix?

    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    * Check the 'Input script manually' box.
    * Click on the magnifying glass icon.
    * Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it in the box that opens:

I didnt have any problems with Avenger last time and it was the last thing I ran. I noticed that Avenger, HJT and Vundo are saving backups. Is it ok to keep those? When I used HJT last time there were a couple files you told me to fix that I couldnt find. This time when I used HJT I couldnt find O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SystemOptimizer] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rpqlbsfv.dll",forkonce

This time when I tried to merg the files with the registry I got an error saying "Cannot import. The specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary files from within the registry editor."

I got a similar error when trying to use Avenger, saying "selected file does not appear to be a valid script".

Though everything is running alot better now!

Please run VundoFix one more time.

I'd like to know what happens when you enter the avenger text into notepad. It seems each time you run it, either the folders deletion or the files deletion doesn't run/work at all. This last time it deleted the folders, but not the files.

    Run Process Explorer 10.21

In the top section of the Process Explorer screen double click on winlogon.exe to bring up the winlogon.exe properties screen. Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you see this screen click on each instance of any of the below DLL files (if found) and then click the kill button.
    rxnshpxr.dll.
    urqppqo.dll

After you have killed all instances of any of the above DLLs under winlogon click ok.
(If you do not find these DLLS, just continue on.)

Next double click on explorer.exe and again click once on each instance of any of the below DLL files (if found) and then click the kill button.
    rxnshpxr.dll.
    urqppqo.dll

After you have killed all instances of any of the above DLLs under Explorer click ok.
(If you do not find these DLLS, just continue on.)

Next double click on iexplore.exe and again click once on each instance of any of the below DLL files (if found) and then click the kill button.
    rxnshpxr.dll.
    urqppqo.dll

After you have killed all instances of any of the above DLLs under iexplore click ok.
(If you do not find these DLLS, just continue on.)

    Now just exit Process Explorer.

You can either run avenger and do this:
Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.

    OR:

Use windows explorer to find and delete those items.

Attach the avenger log and tell me how things are running.

I didnt have to run Process Explorer 10.21, I didnt find any of the files that you told me to delete.
I got an error again when trying to use Avenger. But I used windows explorer to remove "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rxnshpxr.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\urqppqo.dll". I didnt find the other two.
But everything is running really well! No more pop-ups and it runs faster than I can ever remember it running!
Thank-you so much for helping me!!

I'd like you to do one more thing:
Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune. This program does not require an installation. The executable actually runs the program.

NOTE: This program is for Windows XP and Windows 2000 only. ATF Cleaner will remove all files from the items that are checked so if you have some cookies you'd like to save. Please move them to a different directory first.
    • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
    • Under Main choose: Select All
    • Click the Empty Selected button.
    If you use Firefox browser
    • Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
    • Click the Empty Selected button.
      • NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
    If you use Opera browser
    • Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
    • Click the Empty Selected button.
      • NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main ATF Cleaner menu to close the program.

    Then:
You may uninstall any programs we had you download (including CounterSpy, etc).

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

    1. If we used Pocket Killbox during your cleanup, do the below
    * Run Pocket Killbox and select File, Cleanup, Delete All Backups
    2. If we used ComboFix you can delete the ComboFix.exe file and associated C:\combofix.txt log that was created.
    3. If we user SDFix you can delete all the SDFix related files and folders from your Desktop or whereever you installed it.
    4. If we used VundoFix, you can delete the VundoFix.exe file and the C:\VundoFix Backups folder and C:\vundofix.txt log that was created.
    5. If we had your run FixWareOut, you can delete the Fixwareout.exe file and the C:\fixwareout folder.
    6. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    7. You can delete the ShowNew.Zip and GetRunkey.Zip files and the files that you extracted from the ZIP files. You can also delete the C:\newfiles.txt and C:\runkeys.txt logs that were created
    8. If you are running Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
    * go back to step 8 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
    * Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    9. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
