    Hello.

My CPU usage changes sporadically, going from 0% - 6% - 24% - 60%- 100%. And all of my internet browsers are slow. Firefox especially takes a very long time to load pages, whereas Opera is a bit faster (but definitely not fast as it used to be). When my computer starts, 2 system32 CMD windows pops up and disappears. Another thing that pops up at startup is the "Found New Hardware" icon on the task bar and a "found new hardware installation wizard" window, even though I did NOT install any new hardware.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Your problems are not due to malware. Your logs are clean. I do suggest that your remove the below file to stop this task from trying to run:

    C:\WINDOWS\Tasks\Ad-Aware Antivirus Scheduled Scan.job

You do not even have Ad-Aware Antivirus installed per your logs.

Other than that, I suggest that you post in the Software Forum for help and also do the below final cleanup.

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Hi chaslang, thanks for your response!

I just have a question, HitManPro found the following:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\blekko toolbars\ (Blekko)
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\blekko toolbars\toolbar.txt (Blekko)

Can you you reassure me that those are not suspicious? I don't remember ever installing them.

These are just junkware from installing Ad-Aware. Ad-Aware now installs this junk toolbar on PCs. You can simply delete the folder since you do not have Ad-Aware installed anymore.

Ok. Thanks chaslang for viewing my logs and helping me! I know my logs say I don't have any viruses/malware/spyware but something strange happened. Last night I downloaded Avira and started a scan around 1AM. 9 hours later I wake up this morning and it's still scanning, the number was stuck on 77% but different files were still being scanned. I decided to stop the scanning and uninstall Avira with Revo Uninstaller. After a restart I go on Firefox and all my add-on extensions are gone! Do I have a severely stealthy rootkit? Have I been hacked?!

    You're welcome.
No and no! Your logs are clean. Even the ComboFix log you had was clean.
