Spybot S&D doesn't ever update or ctach any spyware

    I have had Spybot S&D for a whiel now. The version I have is 1.3 rc 4. I use the updater from teh program and have also downloaded the updater here on MG. I just did the later tonight and still didn't update. Also it has never caught anything. Not sure what's going on, but I do use Ad-aware as well. Will this have any affect?

    You don't have the proper version. That's why there are no updates.

    Get the versions of the software indicate by clicking on the links in this Sticky thread < READ ME FIRST: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal >

    Then do your updates. Make sure you get both SpyBot S&D and Ad-Aware SE.
