spyware/popup problems remaining

I tried to cleanup my computer the other day, as I had noticed many unwanted adware/spyware programs running and popups. I did all of the steps in the "read this first", and am still having a couple problems, e.g. WinFixer. I ran HJT and put the log into an online HJT analyzer, but I'm not sure what to do about the problems it flags. Can somebody take a look and get me through the final stages of cleanup? Thanks!

 

Please look in Add or Remove Programs for the following and Uninstall them if found:

Viewpoint

Please download HOSTER and then follow the below steps.

• Unzip Hoster to a convenient folder such as C:\Hoster

• Run Hoster.exe, click Restore Original Hosts and then click OK.
• Click the X to exit the program.

After you complete the above, reboot and attach a fresh HJT log.

 

Finished both those steps. Here's the new log.

 

Please look in Add or Remove Programs for the following and Uninstall them if found:

Now scan with HijackThis and Check the Boxes for the following:

Make sure All Browser Windows are Closed when you Click FIX.

Again, make sure All Browser Windows are Closed when you Click FIX.

NOW:
Please boot into Safe Mode with the Viewing of Hidden Files & Folders Enabled and navigate to and DELETE the following if they should remain:

C:\Program Files\SurfAccuracy ←–– Delete this whole folder if it exist!

C:\Program Files\Viewpoint ←–– Delete this whole folder if it exist!

C:\WINDOWS\vsqdr.exe

NEXT:
Run CCleaner to clean up cookies and temp files.

Run full scans with Ad-Aware SE & Spybot S&D and have both programs fix what they find.
Note: Remember to get all updates before doing the scans.

Then, as an added precaution, Go to Start > Run and type: cleanmgr and then click OK. Make sure the boxes for these are checked:
Temporary Files
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin

And Click OK.


Reboot to Normal Windows , Scan with HijackThis and attach the new log.

 

I followed your instructions, with the exception that O4-HKLM\..\run:[surfaccuracy]... was gone when I ran hjt, and none of those 3 folders/files existed when I looked for them. Adaware and Spybot each found and fixed 1 minor problem.
Here's the new log.

 

Your HJT log is clean, are you having any further problems?
