sr.sys file from windows xp service pack2

    I need the sr.sys file from windows xp service pack2. Does anyone know where I can get a copy? I'm repairing "system restore"

    Welcome to Major Geeks.:)
    If you know anyone with XP installed you should be able to get a copy from them.
    I did a google search for sr.sys but the only one I found wanted 10 euros to download a copy. :mad: :p

    Searching my XP Pro (with SP2), laptop, for sr.sys, I came across 2 instances.
    One is in c:\windows\system32\dllcache\, the other is in c:\windows\system32\drivers\, so you may need to make sure that you put it in both Folders. Bazza
