alright well i just recently started playing starcraft again.. just to past time when im bored .. this is the first time ive played since i got my WRT54GS router. What ive discovered is when i create games no one joins because the latency is too high.. i use to be able to create it and have ppl join before the router. How do i fix this?

What ive found out is that is you must allow this:

Allow port 6112 TCP and UDP out and in

but honestly i have no clue.. i am on my router's page which is 192.168.1.1 and the connection type is DHCP (automatic Configuration)... can i change it with static ip or no?

i tryed port fowarding by putting info in

    Application: Starcraft
    Start: 6112
    end: 6112
    Protocol : Both
Ip Adress: the Ip adress of my computer
    Enable *checked*

    Please help me out.
