Startup Control Panel Utility from mlin.net

Has anyone ever heard of this and is it useful or not? I am trying to get items from automatically starting up as my computer is taking eons. I have cleared everything from the startup folder and have disabled some automatic updates as I do them manually each week. However still items are starting up and someone suggested this to me. I respect your opinion so before I actually install this in my computer and perhaps create a monster would like some advice... thanks.

ok ran the install. used the program. stopped one item. however, there is one process running under the HKLM/Run tab but has no path info (path info blank). anyone know what this is or how if find out what it is and do i need to fix it? Thanks in advance.
