Hi, my computer crashed a few days ago and now I get a blue screen every time I try to reboot. The error says:

    Registry_error

Then it tells me to check if hardware is installed properly, etc. And then:

    Stop: 0x00000051

I tried to reinstall windows using the install disc, but whenever it tries to do anything in C:\Windows I get the same blue screen. When I try to completely reinstall windows, it checks for a previous version in C:\Windows so I get the blue screen. When I try to repair the existing version, I get blue screened as soon as it tries to enter C:\Windows.

I also tried rebooting in safe mode, last known good settings, etc., but none of them work. So basically, I'm completely unable to access my computer.

    Any suggestions are extremely appreciated.

    Tried that. =/

Its for Windows 2000, but either way it just says I'm boned unless I have an ERD, but I was hoping there was some way to fix it.
