    Hello,
I have been having a terrible time trying to upgrade from Win98 to WinXP. XP will go through most of it's process, but when it reboots the system, it comes up with a "STOP Error" It gives me the code 0x0000007B (0xFAFAF63C, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). This is a new (reinstall) of 98 due to a recent crash. I have run McAfee VirusScan 8. It tells me there is nothing there, but yet I still can't get upgraded. I have been trying to do this for about 2 weeks now!

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you,
    Quibbett

Got a raid, scsi, sata or PCI ata controller?

Drivers have to be loaded during setup.

At first reboot, keep tapping F6 until you get the prompt to laod them.

They must be XP compatible, and must be on a floppy.
