stop my IP address from changing?

    i've got a static i.p that changes whenever i restart the pc... is there anyway i can stop that from happening to my ftp address ?

    sign up (Free) and get the heartbeat software and it will update the DNS entry on the fly

    Just as a back up to Kodo's suggestion:
    I have tried many clients that do this and 'no-ip' seems to be the best -it does go down every once and a while but it's nothing like the others I have tried. I'm amazed that they offer such a stable service for free.

    and for 13 bux .. ONE TIME PAYMENT. you can get more than 3 domains to add and manage and a bunch of other domain names to use. 13 bux well spent for me.
