Strange DVD behaviour.

    I have three media player programs - Zoom Pro, WMP 11, and Power DVD. I have DVD Region Free as well to ensure I can play DVDs from all regions.
    I bought a DVD which arrived during the week. Zoom and WMP both rejected it with the message that it could not be played in this region. Power DVD accepts it however and plays it without hassles. It's a Region 1 disc, by the way.
    I've got DVDs from all over the world and I don't recall seeing any cause this sort of a problem. Has anyone got an idea why it might be happening?
