    Hi all,

    I've been struggling with this for a few days now and tried everything and nothing works. I have built and uploaded a webpage using a template and css styles. I am using Dreamweaver, and when previewing, everything looks fine (styles and template with background are visible) until I try a link. Then the background, styles and template disappears. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me a hand with this. Here is the link to the webpage:

    If you open the page with either FireFox or IE, it doesn't show the template, graphic or styles. I have all the documents in the root directory, as it didn't work with separate ones.

    Thanks

    Thanks NeoNemesis,
    Yes, there is not much in the styles, only a few, and yes, I did it in Dreamweaver.

    Code:
    <body background="/background.jpg">

    <table width="90%" border="0" align="center">
    <tr>
    	<td><div align="center"><img src="/heading-fr.gif" width="800"
    If the images are in the root directory, try removing the "/".

    That won't do it, the / doesn't make a difference.

    You're right NeoNemesis, that doesn't work. I tried that.

    Thanks

    Do u know if geocities allows style sheets or not? Because I dont think so, they don't offer much. If you want a good free place here are some i like:

    www.1asphost.com and www.host-dot.com

    They have 100mb and 250mb of space and they both have unlimited bandwith. They also both have a ton of cool features.

    Thanks to all, the problem has been solved by taking the "/" out before the name of the .html file. Don't know why but that didn't work when I tried it before.

    NeoNemesis, yes Geocities does take templates, cause I'm using one. Also, thanks the for the tip for the free hosts.

    Happy New Year to all!

    I think I forgot to mention that those hosts provide space free of ads.
