Successful Spyware Guard 2008 removal

All,

I had "spyware guard 2008" start popping up and trying to scan my pc a couple of days ago.

I searched Major Geeks forum and read the thread, "spyware guard 2008 fake Win security Center" posed on 12-10-2008.

The guy that started this thread said he used Kaspersky to stop the Spyware Guard 2008. when I tried, nothing changed, so I followed the directions provided by Major Geeks for Malware Removal and I am here to report my pc is runinning again without any pop-ops from SG 2008.
