However I saw from testdisk, the capacity was 45 gb, test disk saw no problem from hdd .----the capacity was normal as 45 gb

It sounds like something has changed your partition size . . .

More info on your computer will help people troubleshoot your problem.

What make and model is your computer?

What, if any, upgrades have you done to it?

If a home built system, what is the make and model of your motherboard? What kind and number of hard drive/s do you have installed? Any other devices installed in the system?

Here are some off the cuff things to do - Have you another mouse to try? It could be the mouse itself has the issue. Or if it is a USB mouse, try it in a different USB port. Can you boot the computer into safe mode? If so, try doing a system restore to a day before the problem appeared. If that seems to correct the issue, update and run your anti-virus program and anti-malware program/s to check for any infections or malware issues. Connect to Microsoft Update and download any security updates you need. These things are worth a try.
