Sudden increase in AntiVirus Entries?

    Attached is a screenshot from Microsoft Security Essentials. Listed are infections that I've managed to attract (they've been removed). It just kinda baffles me, as my browsing habits haven't changed and the computer has always come up clean when I complete scans.

    I regularly update and scan the computer with Microsoft Security Essentials, MalwareBytes and SuperAntiSpyware. Why all the sudden these "severe" alerts?

    At least it is doing it's job, Oops. :) Perhaps there has been an increase in baddies which exploit Java lately.

    What version are you using? You should always stay up to date with it. Current version is as follows:

    Sun Java Runtime Environment 7 Update 1

    I'm embarrassed to say that I missed this and did have an outdated version. I thought I had everything updated.
