All of a sudden my mouse will not open any links that were emailed.
This can be a link on an email from a friend or cox.net, any email; yet I can open wav files sent to me.
    On regular internet pages...no problem.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
I did the following in START RUN:

    regsvr32 urlmon.dll
    regsvr32 mshtml.dll
    regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
    regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 msjava.dll (NB Java may not be installed on your computer and you may
    receive an error)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    I did...got:

Load Library msjava.dll failed- the specified module cannot be found.

I clicked on the Msft help links but, I don't really know what it
means. This just started a couple days ago. Only  new thing I did was
install a Google toolbar and then uninstalled it. What do you suggest I do? KIS, please.
    Thank you....

Do you have a Ppo-Up Blocker loaded / installed?

I have pop up blockers somewhere but, they have been there for years. I just installed msjava and that didn't help. This came right after installing and uninstalling Google Toolbar. Can't figure it out!

If not you could try re-setting your url monitor

Go to Start>Run and run each of these one at a time, this will re-set your link monitor

    Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
    Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
    Regsvr32 shdocvw.dll

Those all succeeded. I had done all but the iurlmon before.

Yea sorry realised after i wrote it youd already done the other two, so still not working?

Is IE set as your default browser?

Nope...and I just realised that I cannot keep a page minimized. Anything I click on replaces the original page.....I checked in advanced options and I have that box to reuse windows unchecked.??????/

Yes IE is my default brwoser. This is a real mystery. I have all of the McAfee protections. I swear it had to do with Google.

Why dont you try repairing IE....... Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and choose Internet Explorer, select Remove Program. You are then offered the option to Repair Internet Explorer; select Repair and reboot

If it does not show up there maybe in add/remove components. Remove it and then re install it.

Or could you update it via the windows website
