svchost.exe error - problems running pc

Hello,
My PC is having problems. I ran through the malware removal steps, posted on that forum (everything is clean) and was told to post here.

Below are my problems:
1. When starting pc I initially get the following error:
svchost.exe Application error
The instruction at "0x7d4caa9b" referenced memory at "0x00000010"
2. I hit the cancel button on the popup, then desktop takes a long time to load.
3. Once desktop starts to load I get the following popups
- Sonic Update Manager
the feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM, insert disk (I cancel out but it keeps poping up).
- Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library (also pops up)
Runtime Error
Program: C:\Program Files\Dell\Media Experience\PCMService.exe
4. Unable to connect to router for internet connection. It keeps trying to connect and finds rounter but just can't connect.

Please help
