I just did a port scan at hackerwatch.org and it said my port 443 was opened and unsecured and that it should not be opened if I don't use my computer as a server, which I don't. This port was not open the last time I did a port/firewall test. I recently did a Panda and Bitdefender online scan could that be the reason. How do I configure my firewall Sygate to block the port or do I change a setting in Windows?

Port 443 is used for secure web browser communication. As far as why it would show open not sure.

Hi, I figured out how to block the port. I went Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs> Windows Set Up> Communications and De-Checked everything there that I didn't use. I beleive the port was open because in the past had networked my computer and had some settings left over from then.
