Symantec Corporate Edition won't load

    When loading Symantec Corporate Edition 8.1 I have it as a client computer running off a server. So I click managed then it loads the files when it gets to preparing virus definitions it just sits there. I hit ctrl-alt-del and in the task window it says ldriver (not responding). I end that and the installation rolls back. I haven't had any problems on any other computers on the network. This is a windows 98 machine like most of the others. Any ideas???

    Perhaps there is a virus?

    I ran all the online virus scans and came up with nothing?

    Was there a previous version of Symantec Corporate Edition ?

    Nope there was a Norton Antivirus on there which I uninstalled. It seems like the Live update for that still keeps popping up and may be interfering?
