Hey guys, i installed a second hard drive (D) in my computer, its a 40gb, but windows xp pro only recognized 2gb.
I've checked SETUP -> CMOS Features, and it show its real size (40gb), so i don't know.

Also i formated the disk before installing it so i don't think its partitioned.
    Is it the hard drive?

    Thanks!

What did you format it with DOS or a Win95 floppy?
XP has a Disk Manager under Control Panel > Admin Tools> Computer Management, then Disk Management. You can partition and format there.
With XP you can install a bare - out of the box drive and go there to set the whole thing up or next time use the manufactures tools to do it...
