System restore doesn't work!

    Hello, I need help. My niece downloaded a windows 7 ultimate and installed it on her computer on a website called demonod.com (I am not sure of the name of the website.) The problem is the 30 day activation is almost over and I don't know what will happen next. I wanted to use the recovery partition disk on the computer to return the computer to original state, but it does not work. I activated the recovery partition restart the computer and pressed F11 but it does not work. I really suspect it is some kind of malware that came with the windows 7 ultimate.

    I did all the preparation test but combofix will not run neither rootrepeal. So did a GMER scan instead.

    We do not assist people who are using bootleg operating system. I suggest you purchase a legit copy of Win7 and do a clean install.

    This computer has a legit windows 7 copy. I just can't get it to work. smhh

    Any downloaded OS is going to be bootleg. If it had an original legal copy that she upgraded with the Win7 Ultimate, you are going to have to restore it to the version that was legit. If you don't have an install disc, you can post in the software forum for assistance in restoring the computer or contact the manufacturer to request an install disc.
