I do not know a geek from a tweak so please bear with me. I recently bought a tablet with Android 4 installed. A friend 'updated' to 4.1 while in the meantime Adobe removed support for anything over the 4 version. Now I am having difficulty downloading anything, particularly movies. Using atorrent or similar this is the message I get....

    ....a torrent
    Unable to open URI
Reason: Torrent is damaged or malformed
    Details: Invalid BitTorrent format.com.mobility flow.bit torrent.a.f.
    String is too long MZ.

Has any please any ideas for a decrepit old geezer?:(

    Jerico,

Start a new thread if you have an issue and do not attach your problems to another person's thread.

    Thanks!

At the risk of sounding old fashioned, we can't really condone or support torrents that are illegal in nature (sounds like you are trying to torrent movies).

It could be the torrent app is simply not compatible with Jellybean.

Also, you can sideload flash. Install it from the sd card after you download it, in other words.
