Hey, I'm thinking of overclocking my system.

Currently I have: AMD Sempron running at 1.75Ghz (FSB:166 Mhz, Multiplyer:10.5)

I would like: AMD Sempron running at 2.1Ghz (FSB:200Mhz, Multiplyer:10.5)

My questions is: What sort of increse in temperature will I have on my hands? Currently have a stock fan thats keeps it at 51C at load, I've got a feeling this won't do the trick and I'll have to get a new HSF.

To sum everything up, all I want to know is how much hotter will my cpu be running if I was too keep the stock HSF?

You could always OC it, and run Motherboard monitor, or some other such program to keep tabs on it's temperature. Run a CPU burn-in program. If it gets too hot/unstable, clock down a bit and try again.

Hmm, I suppose I'll just have to do that though. I was just going to see first though if OCing with my current temps would be a wise thing to do or not.

    Cheers :)
