test driver unlimited random lockups

I was recently playing test drive unlimited with the 1.66a patch but i kept getting random lockups (about every 10-15 minutes):cry i was using a ati radeon x700 pro 256 meg pci-e video card until i upgraded to an nvidia geforce 7600 gs 512 meg pci-e but i still kept getting lockups and i have got 2 gigs of ram so it's not a memory issue.
And to let you know i've uninstalled the game.
P.S. I men't to say test drive unlimited in my message header:cry.

 

Hi hugh750 i might have a solution to your computer problem. My question is what kind of computer do you have like "HP, Dell, Sony". Please get back to me ASAP. Because the is a crucial part of a problem!!
