Testing how fast my read/write is?

Doe anyone have any free programs to recommended to test the read/write of my computer? Going to SSD and want to do some comparison testing after I get it.

I used crystal disk mark to compare my slow ssd to my fast ram drive. heh. :-D

I do need to hook my 1TB 10k drive to test that one. Perhaps this coming weekend.

I will say that adding an SSD to an older computer, will make that computer act like a newer computer. It is like, wow, why didn't I do this before. But, high capacity is $$$'s.

Oh, and when it comes to SSD small capacity, I just store my data on a 500 GB HDD.
