Text Printing with word proccessor

I am trying to print a doc., setting the text size to 10. but the print out completly ignores whatever text size is selected,and prints out at about text size 22,,severel diff.docs\ text sizes have been tried all with the same result

Try highlighting all text in the document, setting the font to 10 and saving as a new document. Then print the new Font10.doc.

Edit: Or is that what you just said?

 

What is the software application you are using?

Sorry for delay with reply,have been away visiting for 6 days.

Ive been using Lotus word pro,have just installed & tried Microsoft word 2003, (Ive Vista installed).when I set"user define for the page size (8x5cm in this case :confused& t\new roman 9) the printer icon disappears from the menu bar,so the only print driver option is under the file list,resulting in very large print
