The sims life stories Requirements HELP!

I dont really know how to read my computers
specifications so can some one help me
and see IF my computer meets the requirements
for me to play my sims. i have the game installed
but it looks nothing like how other people
play the game. Theres looks awesome while mines
looks bad and blocky.

I have a compaq Presario SR1265CL

This is "The Sims Life Stories" requirements.
System Requirements:
PC
OS: Windows XP
CPU: 1.4 GHz (1.8 GHz laptop) or faster

what should i install/download?
and where can i install/download them?

go to Start run and type Dxdiag and Look at the info


but I don't know if it Will run As u have on board Video witch is not Good for games
