The thing that won't go away...

    I can't seem to find out were this 'search2find.com' has latched itselft on my brower or what find. I have cleaned every thing suspicious ; I have cleaned out every temp files and still cannot locate how or WHERE this hijack of my browser. Can SOMEOne please help in telling me where or how to get rid of a toolbar hijack... called --- search2find.com. If I so much as go into my internet explorer it downloads all it's icons on my desktop; ie...dating...poker...killspyware..my daily horoscope.

    Please can you help....

    All exhausted resources have led me to try for help on this website.

    Well I have my work cut out, however this seems like a lot of work for some stupid hijack browser. Does any spybot really work? I have installed them and they just tell you about a bunch of infected files that I can't seem to find. I don't think we can get rid of whatever spyware is on my system ; which is called -- search2find.com.

    Please follow the steps in the tutorial. If still having problems afterwards, we will work on resolving whatever problems you have remaining. The tutorial will clean up lots of problems and get your system into a know state making it easier to cleanup some of the more stubborn malware problems. Yes, they work!

    I think I got myself in way too deep; not only is my Microsoft Internet Explore GONE! :rolleyes: There are so many other problems...well I tried guys. And I hate to admit I failed...now the only decent thing I can do is PAY Staples to kill whatever infested my computer and make my computer well again! I hate doing this but I can't figure out the insides of all this malware..thanks for helping..

    All you had to do was follow the steps in the READ ME.
    Were you having problems trying to do that?
    What do you mean IE is gone? Do you mean it is not on your PC anymore? Or it does not run? Or it runs but you cannot connect anywhere?

    What were you doing when this happened? What steps had you followed.

    Somehow my Internet Explore is gone..when I try to get on the Internet Explorer the screen is blank. If anything at all my husband will have to go in and do what you have outlined. Thanks for your help.

    Okay. This does not sound like Internet Explorer is gone. It sounds like you are having a problem getting it to connect to anywhere. True?

    Well the Internet Explorer has a blank screen...soo we tried fixing our computer because...it crashed all we saw was a blue screen...and we gave up..you know we are not the savy teenagers you guys are computers are annoying with all this spyware computer ..microsoft crashing stuff. With that in mind we took our computer in and fixed it for a unbelievable rip off price of !!@120.00 CDN..I'm begining to believe that there will never be peace in computer viruses and spyware!! arrgh..
