I found an old non-microsoft theme called Damek Ultra Blue that looks like Longhorn but isn't etc and I think I deleted the plugin that I need to make it work. I don't think its "ThemeXP" because that gave me no results. Any ideas which plugin it might be? If you suggest names and websites I might suddenly recognise it!

Multipatcher from Belchfire.net http://www.belchfire.net/article555.html lets XP use non-Microsoft themes. It will even reinstall the original uxtheme.dll in the event of another service pack update.

If I read this right you cannot use non-MS themes? if so then the hack/plugin is called uxtheme multipatcher v2.5.1 as using this is a bit easier than swaping the uxtheme.dll manually.

would do backup/system restore before using, never harmed me but whooo knows ;)
