They keep logging me out of the website???

So I go to this website and I log into it. The website has lots of videos to download, but when I go to download them, my downloads start but after an hour or so the website logs me out and stops my download. Whenever the download is less than an hour it goes all the way, but over and I'm logged. Is this something I'm doing, or is it the website doing it. I tried emailing the company but I got no answer.

So when you log in is there a box, like there is at Majorgeeks.com, to check "remember me" so it does not auto log you out?

 

The funny thing about it, is that it does seem to remember my password and name, but it wants me to type in a security word displayed on a fuzzy screen,like what I did to register here. I told it to remember me in the REMEMBER ME box option, but it still makes me log in every time I exit my screen then go back to the site. Or being on the site and waiting for my download too long does that too.

 

Ticking the box only remember you for THAT specific visit. You still have to log in everytime. Same here at MG's.

The fuzzy random alphanumeric characters are a normal security verification code.

Not sure when you emailed the website concerned, but my suggestion would be to wait for them to respond. You obviously do not have a downloading or internet issue as you can do so for up to an hour anyway.

 

Yeah, this is way I think it may be some sort of issue on my part. Like maybe I set something, or my PC/browser has presets that interfere with it.

 

What browser are you using?

Check the site itself. See if it has some sort or timer in your user profile (like log me out after 60 minutes of no activity--downloading may not count as activity it may need a mouse click). Does the site have a FAQ or Rules section?
