Things really not working...

Hello everyone,

I'm currently experiencing something Google and my college text book can't fix. I have tried everything I am aware of and its not helping. I will list my concerns here. I have both laptop and desktop issues.

Issues:
Before reading this there is a lot and for my desktop I'm fine starting from scratch if we can. Basic OS with nothing on it. If that would also solve everything. Part of me feels like it'd be wise to start over fresh.

1. Will not allow me to download files like Photoshop programs or AVG Antivirus. Will show it at [1006/1006 0sec remaining] but will never finish and I can't open or install

2. I downloaded a program called "Revo Uninstaller" because another program won't come off my desktop. It is called Umbrella.exe by Iminent and it's in my Browser and will NOT go away no matter if I delete the default or scan or anything. It is causing it's own list of annoying issues.

3. My internet for the desktop is really really slow and I've changed Ethernet cords 4 times. Internet for everything else works perfectly, so I'm left thinking it has something to do with my desktop.

4. My screen times out and goes black then won't come back on. If it does come back on it looks like an old box tube TV and is fuzzed out. Only way I can get it to come back is hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del.

5. Also it won't download Windows 10. It shows in the update history that it was going to but it failed. Only thing I can conclude is perhaps the person I paid to download my OS pirated it, and that would explain the reason it won't update to 10. Any thoughts? So where can I get a legit cheap or free Security Code for it?

1. It does not matter what kind of internet, where or how it is connected it continues to constantly disconnect. I'm sure that its the wifi-card. What are your opinions?

Last but not least I can't get my computers to make me ADMIN even though I'm the only one using it!!
