My desktop is 7 years old and has been a good one but I have maxed out the memory slots and it can't keep up. I have been looking at refurbs b/c I need a quick fix until I can buy what I really want.
I mainly do email, web surf, office and accounting software. I want something that will work fast. Is this worth the price? Any other recommendations for what I need for the same (or less) price?

Out of the 2 you show, I would go with the Dell, even though it is a little pricier.

Any other options that you know of? I do not know alot about computer hardware and these were the two I found after looking for only 30 minutes.

    Thanks for your reply.

The only thing that holds me back from the Dell is that I'm not convinced it has PS2 connections for keyboard/mouse. This may be a non-issue for most people but I like to have access to my PC even if the USB chip goes down or the BIOS plays up.

Yeah id go with the dell too. Honestly, looking at the specs and price, and what youre planning on doing with it, i dont think you can go wrong with that. Realistically, you probably wont have to replace that for a while either. thats not a bad computer at all for that price.

Well then get a USB to PS2 adapter!
I'm sure they only cost a few dollars;)

Should have PS2 connections. Pretty much standard.

Not so in recent years :(
This and the photograph of the rear of the PC shows there are no PS/2 connections.
