Thinking about getting another hard drive

Recently I got satellite internet and my hard drive is filling up fast I beleive it is a 60gb. The only problem is I have no clue what I have to do in order for the second hard drive to work. Is there some sites out there you can direct me to? I've only had seagate hard drives and they have been pretty good to me, so I think i'll stick with them (unless another brand is better). So how do I install a second hard drive what all do I have to do? Will be IDE drive
