'this Copy Of Windows Is Not Genuine' (w7,build 7601) ?

    Just started getting the subject 'message' after run 'chkdsk' from W7 Explorer>C:>Properties>Tools>Check now... (all options).
    In order to restart, need to 'log off' and start in 'safe mode', then restart back to regular mode.
    Havent found any fixit site links yet.
    Thoughts (other than dont run chkdsk :rolleyes: ) ?

    Ps: MG. it would be nice if we could edit the post 'title' when needed.

    If this is a sudden change where all was previously well then System Restore should fix it.

    Would try Earthings fix first and see what happens if you Windows update again!

    You have never in the past of MG been able to edit your title, so this has not changed, should it be a new option, debatable, but word your text carefully, hell read over some of mine, the typos are horrendious, but if you PM or message a moderator or admin we can likely edit your title to what you want, we are nice like that and I do edit some if I noticed a typo or wrong sounding title, dont see all tho.
