This Is FREAKIN ME OUT!!!!

hey there,
i hav this problem. wen i open "my computer", theres this stupid torch light and a folder animation, and it keeps on going for minutes before "my computer" is displayed . And when i type in the url in internet explorer, it wont go... even tried hitting enter but it wont go . So i hav to use google toolbar as an address bar (neat substitute huh? ).... but i dont hav this problem in firefox..... and starting up and shut down have become damn slow . i hav scanned for everything and found only one stinking adware, but no virus and no spyware..... what the hells goin on, can ne one explain ..... i don hav any other problem, only these retarded probs......
