This problem comes purely out of paranoia.

So for the long time there's been this little problem with my Windows Live Messenger where sometimes I wouldn't get a message or two, it would happen vice versa as well, sometimes people wouldn't get my messages but I didn't think of it as a big thing. However it seems this trend has skipped into other messengers as well. I'm never quickly logged out or logged back in, I would notice that. Are these mishaps just network errors that happen occassionally and uncommonly or is there the slight possibility I might not be the only one who's seeing my conversations? Yes, I am that paranoid.
