thousands of emails in gmail spam

    cant i delete all the emails in the spam folder instead of only 100 at a time?

    So if you click in the spam folder the link "Delete all spam messages now" it doesnt delete all spam messages?

    To be honest if your getting 1000s of spam emails a day/week/month I would be creating a new Gmail account as that one will only keep getting those volumes of spam as its now on many spam email lists, which is why its wise to keep your main email account only for friends and create a sperate one/s for signing upto forums, newletters etc

    the spam emails are there already took years to get this much i didnt care about ity so never bothered to delete it.like i said the only option i see is to delete 100 at a time i would like to delete all but tat is not a option.

    There is a delete all option. However, you must be using the enhanced (not HTML only) version of Gmail in your browser. Included is an attachment showing where the option is located. Best of luck!
