I just bought an EEEPC and I'm trying to set up my email.

I seem to be able to send messages ok, but I'm not receiving any of them, even on my other computer.

On the EEEPC I get the message, "connection to the server dodo.com.au timed out".

I've tried seaching help sites, and I've contacted my ISP but they don't support Linux.

    thanks

    Gail

Was it SMTP Authorization turned on? Or that during peak times the server is lagged?

Settings for Thunderbird in Windows is the same as in Linux. POP3 Mail and SMTP are the same for about every server.... Here are the Outlook Express setting guide.
