Tired the tutorial but it's not working. Hijack This log

    I'm really having trouble with this. I tried the tutorial but it doesn't seem to work. I keep getting the clock coal and some other window that comes out on the bottom. It's driving me nuts. I tried already tried all I could think of with the tutorials help. Please help read this for me! Thanks in advance!

    Also, shut down all applications before making a log.
    You had 3 Internet Explorer sessions alone running.

    Check Add/Remove Programs for anything to do with WeatherBug and uninstall it.

    I would say that your should have HijackThis fix these lines:
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [stupidiso] C:\PROGRA~1\ADMIND~1\Time that.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Deaf Draw Ref Drive] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Bone Each Deaf Draw\Fast Great.exe
    O9 - Extra button: WeatherBug - {AF6CABAB-61F9-4f12-A198-B7D41EF1CB52} - C:\Program Files\AWS\WeatherBug\Weather.exe (HKCU)

    Then boot in safe mode and delete:
    C:\PROGRA~1\ADMIND~1\Time that.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Bone Each Deaf Draw\Fast Great.exe
    C:\Program Files\AWS\WeatherBug <---- the whole directory

    I'm not sure if it worked but it seems to have. But I still get a tool bar that I think came with the MSN Messenger Plus. I will wait for you to ask for me to attach the file. OK? Thanks again! This is really helping. I think I was clicking on the wrong things. Thanks again! You guys are really awesome!

    MSN Messenger Plus is spyware, we had an argument here with the author sometime back because we refuse to post it here. His defense was that you can opt out on install, but we just thought it wasnt fair. He subscribes to the"if your too stupid to read, you deserve it thoery" and we subscribe to the "not everyone has time to learn everything about computers" theory. Where is the toolbar, in Internet Explorer? You can right click near the toolbars and customize to remove that. Optionally try a different browser like Mozilla Firefox.

    Thanks so much. I disabled it. It won't let the computer diable it. I had to. It made me type in a number to confirm I was a human not a machine. :confused: Whatever, I got it off of it. The thing was annoying the heck out of me. I remember that when I was putting it on my computer it told me I had to agree about the toolbar or something and that if I didn't want it that I wouldn't get it... *sigh* Oh well, I guess I'll see how long I can last.

    Is Mozilla FireFox Netscape? Can I see everything on it that I can see on IE? Or wiull I be missing out on some stuff?
    Is there a way I can try to make my IE better?

    Is Mozilla Firefox Netscape?
    Not really, Netscape is Mozilla, so is Firefox, same engine, different in how it works and appears. It looks similar to IE, with added functionality like popup blocking, tabbed browsing and more. Change sucks, I know, but you can easily uninstall it. Like anything new, you need to give it a few days.

    Can i see everything I see on IE?
    Yes, except for a few "features" that mainly are used to exploit the browser like ActiveX. Short answer, yes, you wont know the difference.

    Is there a way to make IE better?
    Yes, stop using it ;) No, you can add MYIE2 (Now called Maxathon) or a similar third party program that adds features that browsers like Firefox or Opera already have.
