Hi, my computer has been running WAY slow. I pull up my task control to try and figure out what the heck the problem is and see that my memory is running at close to 100%, cpu about 10%. I finally went to a different help site and ran all of the logs requested and was told that I'm infected with ZeroAccess Rootkit and to take my problem to a different section for help. That was 2 days ago and I havent received any type of reply so, since y'all have helped me before, I came here. In the meantime, I've also run Stopzilla and it found Trojan.Win32.Mal.gen!b32, Trojan.Win32.Mal.gen!b56, and Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT as well as various unwanted programs (TornTV, Conduit) and tracking cookies.

The programs that this website says to run have all been run, and the logs are all attached. I dont want to break any rules so I dont want to show any links to a different site, but if you want to see what I've done so far (which is really just run logs) I'll be happy to give you the other threads link.

I hope you can help, and thank you in advance!!!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

You have a few things to cleanup, but no signs of ZeroAccess. You also have too many antivirus programs installed which you should never do. And in addition, some of the items you installed are not recommended!!!

Since you have AVG installed, uninstall the below immediately.
    Anvi Smart Defender
    XoftSpy AntiVirus Pro

Please download OTM by Old Timer and save it to your Desktop.
    • Run OTM.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, Win7 or Win8, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).
    • Copy the lines from the below codebox to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C
(or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy): Do not include the word Code: which is just a title line of
      the code box
    Code:
    :Processes
    explorer.exe

    :Services
Anvi Smart Defender Realtime Guard Service
    asdsrv
    XoftSpy AntiVirus Pro
    SBAMSvc

    :Files
    C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\CyberLink\eoczdkqu.dll
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Anvisoft
    C:\Program Files (x86)\ParetoLogic
    C:\ProgramData\ffxppzyybidt
    C:\combofix
    C:\QooBox
    C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\ComboFix.exe
    C:\Users\Owner\Documents\APNSetup1.exe
    C:\ProgramData\ParetoLogic
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Anvisoft
    C:\32788R22FWJFW
    C:\windows\TEMP\*.*
    C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\*.*

    :Reg
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\AutorunsDisabled]
    "CyberLink"=-
    "dymqtlftlhg"=-
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentVersion\Run]
    "Anvi Smart Defender"=-
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Wow6432Node\microsoft\windows\currentVersion\Run]
    "Anvi Smart Defender"=-
    [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2942724973-3254444484-952029406-1000\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\run\AutorunsDisabled]
    "CyberLink"=-
    "dymqtlftlhg"=-
    :Commands
    [purity]
    [EmptyTemp]
    [start explorer]
    [Reboot]
    • Return to OTM, right click in the Paste List of Files/Folders to Move window (under the yellow bar
      ) and choose Paste.
    • Now click the large [IMG] button.
    • If OTM asks to reboot your computer, allow it to do so. The report should appear in Notepad after the reboot.
    • Close OTM.
Now navigate to the C:\_OTM\MovedFiles folder ( assuming your Windows drive is C). This is where your log will be
saved in the form of Date and Time mmddyyyy_hhmmss.log. Just look for the most recent .log file. Attach
this log file to your next message.

Now please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Note: That JRT may reset your home page to a google default so you will need to restore your home page setting if this happens.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.
Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, Win7 or Win8, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • the C:\_OTM\MovedFiles log
    • the JRT.TXTlog
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

I read the get ready instructions and removed about 10 other free anti-virus programs. I've used AVG a few times, but I have found it to be basically worthless and was hoping to keep Anvisoft. I tried to remove AVG thru the Add & Remove 4 times but after clicking uninstall nothing happens. I see an entry in my taskmanager but that's it. I thought maybe I just wasnt giving it enough time, so I just walked away for about 3 hours, and still nothing. I do have to kill the entry in taskmanager in order to uninstall anything else though, because it says I have to wait til it's finished uninstalling the one it's working on. So, I guess I'm deleting Anvisoft after all. I coulda sworn I'd deleted Xoftspy!! Anyway, off to follow your instructions, I just didnt want you to think I wasn't paying attention to the rules.
    Thank you!!

While I'm not particularly in favor of AVG anymore, it is significantly better than Anvisoft which is truly worthless. One example >> http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2405313,00.asp

Try running the below for AVG and we will remove any remainders manually later:

    AVG Remover 2014.4116

Then finish the rest of my instructions too if you have not already done so.

Holy cow, the other website that I went to for help, I told them the same thing, that I find AVG basically worthless, and they recommended Anvisoft. Teach me to do my dang homework!! Thank you.

Okay, logs are attached and I await your next set of instructions. Thank you in advance.
    ~Ky

Hmm, it looks like the logs were attached to my original post. I've tried to attach them to this reply but it tells me they're already attached. If you don't see them, let me know and maybe I can open a new thread and attach them there.

Did you run the AVG Removal Tool as requested? I still see AVG 2013 in your installed programs list. What happens when you try to uninstall this?

Yes, I ran it. It did some stuff in a black window and restarted my machine. Those logs were run before I ran your removal tool. I don't see AVG in my programs, would you like me to re-run a log so that you can see what's there/isn't there? If so, just let me know which one.

Yes redo the below so I can be sure where things stand:

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, Win7 or Win8, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Also tell me how things are running right now.

I've attached the new MGlog.zip, and I'm pretty sure AVG is gone, but if you see it anywhere, let me know and I'll run the remover again. Also, I ran a ton of different tools between your instructions and the other sites, but since I came here and followed your instructions, my computer is back to it's old self again. I'm not experiencing any lag, which was the main thing that had me concerned. Okay, some lag, some times, but it's nothing like it was.
You did say you saw concerns other than the creeper that I thought I had, did the tools I ran take care of those or is there still some stuff I need to fix, with your help?
My only issue now, and I think it's more of my smartphone's issue than my computer, is that my Galaxy S3 wont frellin' connect to my laptop, and I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to get it to backup, but that problem has been posted on the appropriate forum. :confused
Thank you so much for all of your help so far, and for any more that may be forthcoming.

    You're welcome.

Just one more item from AVG to remove. Delete the below folder.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. If you are running Win 8, Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below to flush restore points:
      • Refer to the instructions for your WIndows version in this link: Disable And Enable System Restore
      • What we want you to do is to first disable System Restore to flush restore points some of which could be infected.
      • Then we want you to Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
