Toolbar Options Hidden - Urgent Help please......

Hello All,

After all, I have found the answer to visit this website in my Yahoo Answers.

I have Windows XP with sp2.

In Windows Explorer I have kept the settings as Show Hidden and System Files, Show extensions etc.

Suddenly since 2 days suddenly the extensions have become invisible and hidden files and system files became invisible.

I thought of changing the Tools -> Folder Options and change it, but that option it self is not there !

THE FOLDER OPTIONS IT SELF IS MISSING IN THE TOOLS MENU !

I know this is some kind of a virus or something like that, anyone please help me in removing this.

I use NOD32 and it shows no virus found, I have used the Yahoo toolbar Anti Spy and it detected some spywares and removed it but still the same situation. I dont know what to do.

This is very urgent and the data in my pc is very important.

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

• Bitdefender
• Panda Scan
• HijackThis
