Well, I dont know about many of you guys, but regardless of the MASSIVE Gigabyte games that have been coming out for a year or so now, I still find that every month or two, some unknown-ish little development company releases a small game of sorts, that actually ends up taking up more of my time than my purchase $99 AUD Games, so incase I`ve missed a few, I am doing a top ten poll to show you guys what games I am meaning and to see if some of you know of titles that I may have missed that I should grab now and check out...

I was going to put a game in here called 'Memory Cube'.. Its current name is Memoria Wufel, which translates to Memory Cube, but its a NON Enlish demo, its basically the memory game but full hardware accelerated and they just havent given the game a gorgouse facelift, they have added to the gameplay in such a fashion that its a bliss to play, the demo however only contains a very tiny cube for demo show, and after emailing the developers a few months ago, they were not sure if an Enlish conversion was going to be made as they were having trouble finding a published, if they did release it, I would have put it in as Number 1!

well i have a game for your list its called Warbirds2.77R3 its only about 45mb you can download it free from there site www.warbirdsiii.com or you can go pay $5 and get it from a store but it is a great 3d game where you fly great planes of ww2 online or you can fly offline with its ai controling the other planes at anytime of the day or night you can fine 100's of people playing online it is one of the great games i ever played they also have some other games one where you drive a tank blowing stuff up one where you fly planes of ww1 called down of aces they do have another warbirds game called warbirds2004 it is just a update of warbirds3 where you cansail ships and drive tanks and man gunnery on the ground

 

I cant seem to load that site mate, it comes back as 'Cannot open page'..

Side Note: I have been chatting to the german developers of that Memoria Wurfel game, they want to release an english version but cannot find a US publisher, any of you guys interested in having a talk with the developers and are a US resident, and have publishing contacts? If so please E-mail me and I will put forward you into contact.

Warbirds was/is great... Used to play it back when it was offered for free, on AOL.

 

you can still get it for free i just wish you could play it online for free lol they maybe need to get some ads like micro$oft's zone and thin maybe you can play it for free

 

So, only 2 other games are recommended over my top 10 choices? surely theirs games similiar to my choices that I dont know about?


Im going to give that warbirds a try on friday, when my DSL account finally gets activated, I would say it would be too hard to play on a 56k dialup.. yeah yeah I know

 

hey i play my online games on a 56k modem and i have no lag at all and plus i would also get dsl or something faster if i could where i live in the middle of the black hole called hawkinsville GA lol
