Torrent Applications freezing

Hey all,

Wonder if you could help me out here?

Whenever I try to run any bittorrent application, Azureus, ABC, Bit Comet, etc., it runs fine until I run any other program, then it freezes and nothing!!!

Now, I never had this problem before, but I have recently added a 3rd HDD, a 160Gig Samsung SATA drive, which I connect through a SATA RAID card, an adaptec 1210SA card to be more precise.

I run the torrent app on my system HDD, and download to my new SATA drive.

Now, this might seem a hardware problem, but the drive and PCI card seem to work fine, just the software doesnt.

I run XP, service pack 1, I have a 2.6XP AMD chip, 512DDR RAM, Gforce FX5900 Ultra graphics card, and a 1 meg connection to the net.

Please help, I struggled by on a slowdem for so long, now I have a high speed connection I cant d/l a thing, lol!!!!!!
