Toshiba DVD drive SD-C2302 not recognized

    I have a notebook HP Pavilion N3250 with Win 98 Se. Windows is recognizing the Toshiba DVD drive only as a CD-Rom and not as a DVD-Rom drive! I have tried uninstallin and installing again the controlers but without success. I think I need a driver update, I have already done a google search and I can´t find an update of the driver. Toshiba's web page support says all windows operating systems automatically recognizes all thoshiba drives!

    Any comments or suggestions?
