Toshiba Satellite L455 not booting

    My Toshiba Satellite L455 is starting up showing the Toshiba welcome screen. Then it just goes black with a lone cursor in the top left corner and does nothing. I was hoping someone could help. I'm dying inside:cry

    Could be a RAM issue, or any number of things. Can you boot to the BIOS and run any diagnostics like on memory or the HDD?
