touchpad scroll

    I have an HP Pavillion laptop and all the sudden I have no scroll, it shows the symbol but it does not work. Any ideas?

    The scrolling feature on my synaptics touchpad (on a Compaq laptop) occasionally quits working. I have found that it is easily restored by clicking on the mouse properties icon in the taskbar, and then clicking anywhere on the open window. If you don't have the mouse icon in your taskbar, install it by going to control panel > mouse > device settings and checking on "static tray icon in taskbar".
