Bought it new, installed it, deleted Norton so it'd wouldn't clash.

The updater doesn't work. What's happened?

Have you set your firewall to give the updater permission to access the internet? Just a thought.

 

Firewall isn't activated.

Found the update logs, it says there's a problem with the proxy server. I can't find the option to turn off the proxy option. I don't want it to connect to the internet by itself.
