Tricking A Program

I just got Adobe Premiere Pro...this website, that turned out to be bogus, told me that it required Win98SE, WinME, Win2000, or WinXP....turns out that it only runs on Windows XP...which really pisses me off cuz i was so excited to finally get it...i have Windows 2000 and i was just wondering if there is sum sort of way that i can make the program think i have windows xp and still install...i realize there might be conflicts with that but i really don't want to return it and i just want to use it!!! if anyone knows how...im pretty much down to try anything...

 

If it allows you to install the program at all:
(You didn't exactly say.....)

Find the program in your program menu > allow the window to open up >
right click on the program > select properties > select "compatibility" tab>
and in "compatibility mode", check the box for "run this program
in compatibility mode for" and in the drop down
menu select windows 2000 > click on apply and exit.
Hopefully that will do the trick.

 

Heh, you're right. I completely read that bass-ackwards. He has 2k, so
it will not work. I've got to stop posting at 3am.

 

ahhh ok...guess im out of luck...its all good i maybe i can return it and get 6.5 and sum more money back...thanks anyway guys...i appreciate ur help
